Serengeti films - the adventure begins

Welcome to the new home of Serengeti Films, the feature film arm of Digital Crossing Productions. Over the coming months we will be releasing information on two feature films currently in development.

Waters of the Serengeti is the story of a 12 year old boy who grows up in the 1930's Serengeti. Based on the true story of author David Read.

In addition, Serengeti Films is currenlty production on two new documentary series for TV: Volcanic Odysseys and Serengeti.

MICHAEL DALTON-SMITH
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER

Founder and key-creative talent, Michael has turned his passion for conservation and adventure into a career. His filming has taken him from summit of Africa's highest mounains to some of the most remote and inhospitable places on earth such as the Danakil Depression (hotest place on earth) and chasing ivory poachers in the Moyowosi swamps of Tanzania, one of Africa biggest and isolated wetlands.

With over 15 years experience in filmmaking, Michael has been the driving force behind over 100hrs of compelling and thought provoking televison. His programs air internationally on some of the most respected networks such as National Geographic and Discovery.

He is the Director and Producer of 4 orginal documentary series on which he also served as Director of Photography.

Before faling in love with Africa Michael work both as a TV editor at MTV and as a leading Visual Artist on feature films and television.

Digital Crossing Productions has teamed up with volcano tour operator Volcano Discovery to take viewers on incredible journeys to erupting volcanos. This four-part series airs Feb. 2012.

Ol Pejeta Diaries goes to Animal Planet International

Coming this fall to Animal Planet International - Ol Pejeta Diaries will air across Europe and Africa. A twenty-part series that looks at the behind-the-scenes efforts at Kenyan a game reserve.

Ultimate Africa on National Geographic

Viewers can find Ultimate Africa on National Geographic wild throughout Europe and the Middle East, and as well in Africa. French viewers can see the series airing on Ushuaia, and in Spanish on Odisea www.utimateafrica.tv
